Speak Up About It!

Recently I launched a SubStack newsletter called, Speak Up About It! I publish weekly stories that help open the discussion around mental health. It is a space for friends and family of people affected by mental illness to come together to share stories and resources. Together, our stories matter, and collectively, we can make a difference.

Two books titled "While You Were Out" with a subtitle about an intimate family portrait of mental illness, authored by Meg Kinninger.

Starting Conversations

“While You Were Out” continues to start conversations around the topics of mental illness, mental fitness and hope for the future. By acknowledging the truth of the situation and allowing for positive steps forward towards healing for each member of the family and the community. It is time to end the Blame and Shame and create new possibilities of hope and healing.
